Apple Received new Lawsuit Over Siri Assitant
We have for you one more hot news! A new lawsuit over Siri was filed lately!
David Jones who is the owner of iPhone 4S filed suit against the Cupertino, Calif., company on Tuesday, according to the Los Angeles Times. The new lawsuit echoes the same complaint filed by a client in New York this month. The lawsuit over Siri went on to characterize Apple’s commercials as a”deceptive” because they “diverge greatly” from real world use of the feature by the plaintiff and “fellow consumers.” Its not a secret that Siri requires more features to satisfy their needs.
Well, why he did that?
Check what below report in lawsuit over Siri says:
“Through its nationwide multimedia marketing campaign, Apple disseminates false and deceptive representations regarding the functionality of the Siri feature,”
“For example, in many of Apple’s television commercials, consumers are shown using Siri to make appointments, find restaurants, and even to learn the guitar chords to classic rock songs. In its advertisements, Apple depicts these tasks as easily accomplished “just by asking” Siri.”
David Jones was purchased the smartphone in December and was seeking “relief and damages” for himself and other iPhone 4S buyers.
Before lawsuit over Siri all the Apple’s marketing attempts for the iPhone 4S have focused on Siri. The primary commercial for the company’s latest device displayed all the different tasks that Siri can do. Future TV spots took a more narrative strategy and demonstrated iPhone 4S users depending on Siri for a country trip and opening a rock-band.
We analyzed some information and find that iPhone 4S owners use Siri at least monthly. Some user called the functionality the “best thing since the invention of toast,” while other people described it as “very disappointing” or even field a lawsuit over Siri.
At present Siri is a most popular innovation for last year. It understands French, German, Japanese and Australian, British and American English. After a second lawsuit over Siri Apple has promised to improve voice assistant.
